Liby, only one Titled as Engineering and Technical R&D Center of Chinese Light Industry
It is reported by China National Light Industry Association and All-China Handicraft General Cooperative on May 21 that the 4th session of the 5th council of China National Light Industry Association and in the 7th session of the 9th council of All-China Handicraft General Cooperative were successfully held, in which the first Engineering and Technical R&D Center of Chinese Light Industry was identified and the awarding ceremony was conducted.
2018 China National Light Industry Association Science and Technology Award, Certificate for Enterprise Management Modernization Achievements of Light Industry, Great Country Craftsman Certificate of Light Industry and other awards were presented and Engineering and Technical R&D Center of Chinese Light Industry was licensed. Liby, as a leading brand of the laundry care industry and by virtue of world-class R&D ability, won the national-level honor “Engineering and Technical R&D Center of Chinese Light Industry”.
As the only enterprise of the laundry care industry titled as “Engineering and Technical R&D Center of Chinese Light Industry”, Liby’s strength is obvious to all. Since its establishment until it has generated a sale that leads the industry in the country for 10 consecutive years, Liby has maintained the leading position in the industry and won the trust from consumers. 2018 Kantar Worldpanel research data showed that Liby is used in seven out of ten households in China.
Founded in the 1990s, Liby occupied the domestic cleaning product industry within a few years. 2018 Kantar Worldpanel Brand Footprint Report indicated that Liby ranked among top 10 Chinese bands winning the consumers’ preference as the only daily chemical brand.
Liby has always focused on product R&D and devoted to promote upgrading of Chinese laundry care industry. In 2017, President of Liby Group Chen Kaixuan said in an interview: “In these ever-changing and selective days, all sectors of society are changing and Liby regards technological innovation as a driving force of development. The establishment of Innovation and R&D Center and scientific payoffs have been recognized by all sectors of society.” It is reported that Liby has the only Key Laboratory of Green Cleaning Products of Chinese Light Industry and the first academician and export workstation of the industry. 70% of new products developed by the Innovation and R&D Center every year are high-tech products.
Till now, Liby has disclosed 191 patents for washing products, and Liby laboratory has passed more than 170 CNAS certifications and obtained 95 authorized patents for invention, which is far more than the average of the industry and includes 46 authorized patents for invention relating to green and environmental protection. Liby is one of the first green manufacturing demonstration enterprises. Furthermore, Liby has organized or participated in the development of 38 international, national and industrial standards and more than 10 national standards for raw materials. Material standards developed by Liby are industry-leading in both quality and safety.
In the aspect of laundry care products, Liby has achieved a technical new high of the industry with brand advantages far beyond the average. Liby first launched industry-leading products such as soap with enzyme particle, laundry powder and laundry detergent with enzyme. Not only is Liby one of the first green manufacturing demonstration enterprises, but 38 of 58 household detergents in the first green design products are produced by Liby. “Concentration of washing powder” won Chinese Patent Excellence Award. In 2019, Liby signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Danish company Novozymes, a world-leader in biotechnology, witnessed by HM Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and improved consumer experience in the combination of cleaning and caring. The above-mentioned technical breakthroughs demonstrated first-class scientific R&D ability of Liby.
In the end, China National Light Industry Association and All-China Handicraft General Cooperative made a report on key work and put a perfect end to the meeting. Liby realized that the latest wind indicator of the industry plays a guiding role in reform of enterprise in future. The meeting stressed technological innovation, green intelligence and quality standard of enterprise and brought forward constructive suggestions for the development of enterprises of the domestic light industry.
